white canvas - Pladur XXV competition, madrid, apr 2014
honorable mention

white canvas...
the competition asked for the renovation of one of the buildings placed at 'matadero de madrid', using pladur (gypsum wallboard) as main material, to accommodate a group of plastic artists. the proposal divides the building into two parts: one for accommodating the artists, and the other thought as a 'promenade' to contemplate the artists working and their exhibitions.
the separation between these two parts is a big white canvas made of Pladur, which is also the enclosure of the artists box. It is made of movable Pladur panels, which can be modified, removed, and used by the artists as smaller canvas, in order to compose a bigger art composition facing the promenade.
